Do you work with process technicians and/or operators in the Fine or Specialty Chemical Industry, Pharmaceutical Industry, or Biopharmaceutical Industry? As part of an award from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to respond to the lingering effects of COVID-19 and to prepare for a potential future coronavirus pandemic, AIChE/RAPID aims to develop a virtual technician and operator training program for the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, fine chemical and specialty chemical industries. This effort will be a 2-year project, beginning with three roadmapping workshops to identify existing programs and best practices and define future training needs.
