This project will bring students and workers up to speed to help them develop the needed experience and expertise to be effective and successful in the bioindustrial manufacturing sector through three new courses: Core Competencies in Molecular Biotechnology, Fundamentals of Bioindustrial Manufacturing, and Training in the Nexus of Biotechnology and Society. It will include innovative approaches for remote learners to still achieve the laboratory experience, through the use of web-based augmented reality.
