America Makes is supporting workforce development across the NJ Defense Manufacturing Community Support Program to engage veterans on their path to civilian employment through upskilling and expanding the K12 employment funnel by deploying key educational outreach programs from America Makes EWD library. The project team provides webinars to educate regional partners on available America Makes EWD programs, including microlearning, Additive Edge, and TEAMMSS kits. Regional facilitators to be trained to deploy Additive Edge as an outreach activity to inspire veterans to upskill into Advanced Mfg. Access to AMTrain and AMJobs will be provided to support veterans' upskilling into civilian employment. Outreach to will be conducted in the region to local K12 schools to scale America Makes EWD assets.
