Smart Manufacturing and Robotics Training (SMART) Program develops a pipeline of job-ready skilled technicians with the demonstrated enthusiasm and aptitude necessary to build, install, debug, maintain, and support robotics technologies. SMART leveraged prior research and expertise to develop an ARM Robotics Technician Pre-Apprenticeship program with supporting curricular tools, an online training solution, and a certified instructor professional development program. It also includes five micro-certification courses that are foundational to the Robotics Technicians in the industry: Robotics Integration, Mechanical Foundations, Electrical Foundations, Fabrication Foundations, and Software Foundations.
