Semi-Conductor
The U.S. Department of Commerce’s National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking public input on the development of up to three new Manufacturing USA institutes focused on semiconductor manufacturing. The institutes, authorized by the recently passed Creating Helpful Incentives to Produce Semiconductors (CHIPS) for America Act, will enhance U.S. leadership in semiconductor manufacturing through advanced research, education and workforce development.
