MxD today announced that it has been recognized as a 2025 Manufacturing Leadership Awards finalist in two project categories: Transformational Business Cultures and Collaborative Ecosystems. Hosted by the Manufacturing Leadership Council, the Manufacturing Leadership Awards honor manufacturing companies and leaders that are shaping the future of global manufacturing.

The institute’s CyberSecure Supplier Program was named a finalist in the Collaborative Ecosystems category. MxD’s CyberSecure Supplier Program developed and delivered a series of cybersecurity resources, newsletters, educational content, and webinars that Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) are implementing in their supply chains. The program created a new approach for supply chain risk management teams to mitigate cybersecurity risk within a supplier base.

MxD’s Disability Inclusion Programming was named a finalist in the Transformational Business Cultures category. This program aims to help manufacturers address a looming 2.1 million worker gap due to a skills shortage by creating career opportunities for individuals with disabilities, as well as supporting employers and workforce training partners in developing accommodating working and learning environments.  The program demonstrates the impactful role of technology in solving the manufacturing workforce shortage, while accelerating the growth of American jobs in the workplace.

“We’re incredibly proud to see our projects named as finalists for the Manufacturing Leadership Council awards for another consecutive year,” said MxD CEO, Berardino Baratta. “This recognition reflects our unwavering commitment to increasing the strength of U.S. manufacturing. In partnership with our members, MxD is helping to develop the cybersecure and digitally enabled manufacturing supply chains and workforce critical to strengthening U.S. manufacturing global competitiveness.”
