Creating the First Online Robotics Career Portal
The ARM Institute has launched www.roboticscareer.org – the nation’s first resource to connect manufacturers, workers, and job seekers with education programs to develop skills for careers in automation and robotics. ARM Institute collaborated with more than 400 member organizations to define robotics skill sets, competencies, and career pathways. The site contains thousands of current job listings, details about 16,700-plus training programs, and provides information on more than two dozen certified training programs that have been endorsed by the industry through the ARM Institute.

Defining New Digital Manufacturing Career Paths
MxD, which equips manufacturers with the digital tools and workforce expertise needed to strengthen their companies, partnered with the ManpowerGroup to create a Digital Manufacturing Jobs Taxonomy. This massive undertaking identified 165 manufacturing roles that will be created or transformed by the introduction of digital technology, establishing an accelerated path for digital manufacturing workforce development.
